The final exhibition of Routes of Resistance will be at Skissernas Museum in Lund between 26 November and 1 December 2024!
As part of a creative week at the museum, the curators of the project will collaborate by engaging with each other’s work to develop a unified expression, embracing diverse and multifaceted views on global artistic resistance. This process will include an exhibition, workshops, discussions, film screenings, and performances. You can access the announcement on the museum’s website through this link.

It has long been the practice of artists, curators, authors, and activists to oppose centres of authority and instead to centre their work and personal experiences. Motivated by these methods of operation, we have developed a modular installation that features techniques from Sweden, South Africa, Uganda, and Mexico. When combined, these variations raise questions on the idea of freedom in the context of artistic work.
