Art can give visibility to censorship and the violation of artists’ rights and create empathy. More visible artists can do much to stop those who want to silence less prominent or early career artists.

One gap to be filled is the need to create better collaboration among artists, not only among artists at risk, but between artists at risk and high visibility established artists.

This is a potential resource that needs to be developed!
